Story: It's 1954. The Golden Team is playing the World Cup final against the Germans in Switzerland. In the days leading up to the match, the entire country is cheering for the team's victory. Will the Hungarian team, and with it the Hungarian people and the communist regime, be champions? The film, based on a true story, takes place in the days leading up to the final and on the night of the fateful day.
